Privacy Policy

1. Overview

NoScrollHome is an iOS app that automatically locks your selected apps while you are at home. It is built to be private by design: it does not require an account, and the data that powers the feature — your location and your app selections — never leaves your device.

2. Data Storage

All app data — your home location, time window, app selections, settings, streaks, and history — is stored locally on your device. NoScrollHome does not use any account, cloud database, or cross-device sync. We do not operate a server that receives your personal data.

3. Location Data

NoScrollHome uses your location, including "Always" (background) access, to detect when you arrive at or leave the home you set. This is required so the block can trigger even when the App is closed or force-quit, using on-device geofencing. Your location is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings.

4. Screen Time & App Blocking

NoScrollHome uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls / ManagedSettings / DeviceActivityMonitor) to block the apps you select. The selected-app tokens are opaque to us and remain on your device. NoScrollHome does not read, collect, or transmit any Screen Time usage data; the API is used solely to apply and remove app restrictions on your own device. You grant this permission explicitly during setup and can revoke it at any time in Settings.

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not transmit or store your location off your device.
  • We do not collect which apps you choose to block.
  • We do not read or store your Screen Time usage data.
  • We do not collect contacts, photos, or other device data.
  • NoScrollHome contains no analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

6. Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and managed by RevenueCat. To verify your subscription, RevenueCat processes purchase information and a randomly generated app user identifier; it does not receive your name, email, or payment card details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see or store your payment card details or billing address.

7. Data Deletion

Because all app data is stored on your device, deleting the App removes it. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and is managed in your App Store account. You may also contact us at the email below with any privacy request.

8. Children's Privacy

NoScrollHome is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
